AiDial: an onshore AI call platform, built to never miss a call.
We partnered with AiDial to design and build a fully compliant, Australian-hosted platform where a human-like AI answers calls, books jobs, and updates your tools, all without a single byte of data leaving the country.
An Australian AI company, built for Australian rules.
AiDial is a Sunshine Coast team on a clear mission: bring smart, human-like AI to the Aussie phone line, without sending a single call overseas.
Their customers are clinics, law firms, tradies, real estate agents, and councils. The kind of businesses that lose real money every time a call rings out. AiDial answers those calls 24/7, books the job, and keeps the records tidy, all on Australian soil, fully compliant by design.
A clever idea that had to clear a very high bar.
AiDial knew the demand was there. Aussie businesses miss thousands of calls a day, and each one is a lost customer. The fix, an AI that answers like a real person, was obvious. Building it the right way was not.
Most voice AI tools route calls through overseas servers. For a clinic, a law firm, or an NDIS provider, that is a non-starter. Patient details, legal matters, and personal data cannot leave the country. The platform had to be onshore, end to end, with no exceptions.
It also had to feel human. A robotic voice with an awkward pause kills trust in seconds. The AI needed to reply in real time, understand a broad Aussie accent, and book a job without the caller ever feeling like they were talking to a machine.
Data couldn't leave Australia
Regulated industries demanded full data sovereignty: voice, transcripts, and records, all hosted onshore.
It had to sound human
Latency and stiff voices break trust. The AI needed natural, real-time replies in a local accent.
It had to fit existing tools
Bookings, calendars, and CRMs vary wildly. The platform had to connect to all of them, cleanly.
One senior team. Four clear steps.
We ran the build the way we run every project: tight sprints, weekly demos, and no surprises. Here is how we took AiDial from a whiteboard to a live, paying product.
Discover
We mapped real call flows with the AiDial team: bookings, transfers, FAQs, and the compliance rules each industry demands.
Design
We designed the caller experience and the admin dashboard together, so the AI felt human and the data behind it stayed clear.
Build
We engineered the platform on Australian cloud only: real-time voice, live integrations, and tested, documented code.
Launch and refine
We shipped, watched real calls, and tuned the AI from live outcomes, then handed over a product the team could grow.
What we built for AiDial.
A full conversational AI platform with two faces: a warm, human-like voice for callers, and a calm, data-rich dashboard for the business.
A voice that answers like a real receptionist
The heart of the platform is a real-time voice engine. It listens, understands the caller's intent, and replies in under 300 milliseconds, with no awkward gaps and no robotic tone.
- Picks the right Aussie voice from a 100+ voice library
- Answers from the client's own knowledge base, not a script
- Books, reschedules, or transfers with full context
Live conversation
Real-timeCall intelligence
This weekA dashboard that turns calls into decisions
Every call becomes data. The dashboard shows what is happening at a glance, with full transcripts by email and instant summaries by SMS, so owners stay across it all, even on the run.
- Full transcripts, sentiment, and lead data on every call
- Live integrations with CRM, calendars, and booking tools
- Smart call routing rules by intent, hours, and urgency
Engineered onshore, built to scale.
For the CTOs reading this: every choice served two goals, keep data in Australia, and keep latency low enough to feel human.
Frontend
- Next.js (React)
- TypeScript
- Tailwind CSS
- WebSocket streaming
Backend and Voice
- Node.js + NestJS
- Python (AI services)
- WebRTC and SIP telephony
- Real-time STT / TTS
Data and AI
- PostgreSQL
- Redis (low-latency cache)
- Vector search (RAG)
- LLM orchestration layer
Cloud and Ops
- AWS Sydney (ap-southeast-2)
- Docker + Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines
- End-to-end encryption
Compliance by design. All compute and storage sit in the AWS Sydney region. Recordings, transcripts, and personal data are encrypted at rest and in transit, with role-based access, retention limits, and redaction built in, not bolted on later.
Live, compliant, and answering every call.
The platform launched on time and started taking real calls for real businesses. The numbers tell the story.
"Software Gaze got what we were trying to do straight away. They built a platform that sounds human, keeps every byte onshore, and just works. We went from an idea to taking real calls in sixteen weeks, and they're still right there with us as we grow."
